Where The Hell Is The TOEFL Testing Center?!?!?!

inding The Official TOEFL Testing-Center in you area (Country, and City) is a very serious & important part of the process of “Achieving Excellence On The TOEFL iBT Exam”.

his is why I have taken the time to collect and publish all of The Official Testing-Centers throughout the world, as given by the information on the official website.  I also publish directions to the testing center in each location — based on the address that they provide.

es — The official TOEFL Website DOES give this information as-well.  But the problem is — it is very difficult to actually find this information on the site.  And even when you find the “tool” that you are supposed to get the information that you need…  Well, the tool basically sucks.  But I have taken the time to figure out how to manipulate it to give me the information that you need.  It is not always as simple as simply typing in your location and pressing “Enter” (as it SHOULD be).

am not exactly sure why the organization that created and administers The TOEFL Exam, makes it so difficult to get the information that you need — but I suspect that it is because they are not thinking about it from the standpoint  of YOU!  The one who NEEDS the information.  But don’t worry…  I’ve got you covered.  😉

Unfortunately, I Do Not Think There Is A TOEFL Testing-Center In “King’s Landing” — But That Could Change  😉

ith GiveMeSomeEnglish!!! — the process of finding The TOEFL Testing-Center in YOUR country is actually quite easy.  First — go to the TOEFL Testing Dates & Locations page on The GiveMeSomeEnglish!!! TOEFL Portal.  There, you will see a page with all the letters of the alphabet.

s it says in the instructions on that page:  “Click the letter below to see the available locations and dates for each country.”  This means that if you are in the country of Bhutan, then you would click on The Letter B.  If you are in the country of Australia, then you would click on The Letter A.

fter clicking the letter for your particular country — you will come to a page that lists all the countries in the world that have support for The TOEFL iBT Exam.  Naturally, you will then click the link for YOUR country.

ext — you will see all of the up-coming TOEFL Dates for the locations that have testing centers in your country.  (Thus, the name of the page:  TOEFL Testing Dates & Locations).

ow — this is another area that seems to cause confusion for some people, because — by the definition of the word: “Location” — it would seem that the Testing-Centers should be listed there.  The “Locations” are the cities that the TOEFL Exam is held in.

ut — All You Have To Do Is Scroll Down The Page.  Near the bottom of the page, you will see that there is information about when the page was last up-dated.  And then you will see links for Registering for the exam.  Directly under that, it says:

ll you have to do is click that link!  On that  page, you will see all the information for the Official Testing Centers that presently have support for the TOEFL Exam at that location.

nce you find your TOEFL Testing-Center — then you also need to seriously think about How Much Time You Need To Prepare For The TOEFL Exam BEFORE you actually register.  In fact — there is A LOT that you need to think about BEFORE Registering For The TOEFL Exam.

ut — at least now you know How To Find The Official TOEFL Testing-Center.  And if you are not able to follow the instructions that I have given here — then there is a good chance that you are not-yet for The TOEFL Exam.
